Updating Your Zwift Hub Firmware

If this is your first time using your Zwift Hub, or if you want to check you have the most recent firmware, follow these steps:

If possible, use your personal phone to update your Zwift Hub firmware to avoid running into issues with limited permissions.

  1. If you don't already have it, you'll need to download the Zwift Companion (ZC) app from the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store.

  2. After powering on your Zwift Hub, open the ZC app and sign in, if necessary.

Don't pair your trainer to the Zwift game.

  3. Check that Bluetooth on your mobile device is switched on and the LED on your Zwift Hub is flashing blue.

You may need Location services turned on to pair BLE devices when using the Zwift Companion app.

  4. Access the ZC app menu by completing one of the following:
    • If you're using an Android device, select the Zwift Companion app menu button icon.
    • If you're using an iOS device, select MORE in the bottom navigation bar.
  5. Select ZWIFT HARDWARE.
  6. Select your Zwift Hub.
  7. If a firmware update is available, select UPDATE FIRMWARE.

    Select UPDATE FIRMWARE
  8. Select PROCEED to start the firmware update.

The LED on the Zwift Hub is solid blue when connected to the ZC app, and flashes blue after the firmware update is complete.

  9. Once the firmware is up-to-date, select OK when prompted in the ZC app.
