Resolved: Route selection doesn't work correctly for some users

Issue:

There's currently an issue with route selection that's causing some users to end up on a different route than the one they selected. While we don't have a way to identify which users are affected, there is a workaround for the Watopia routes if you find yourself taking a different route then the one you selected from the drop in screen.

Workaround:

There are both simple and advanced workarounds for this issue:

Simple -this method resets your preferences/settings-

  1. Close out of Zwift if you're in game.
  2. Go to your Documents\Zwift folder.
  3. Delete your prefs.xml file. Note: this will reset your game preferences.

Advanced -this method keeps your preference/settings-

  1. Close out of Zwift if you're in game.
  2. Go to your Documents\Zwift folder.
  3. Open your prefs.xml file in a text editor (i.e. Notepad)
  4. Delete the <BRANCH_PREFERENCE> line from the file.
  5. Save the file.

Relaunching Zwift after using either one of these methods will solve the problem for all future Zwift sessions.
