What are the minimum device requirements for Zwift?

Zwift works on most newer PCs and Macs, as well as most iPhones, iPads, and Apple TVs. Here's a quick rundown on what works.

PC/Mac

Here are the current computer requirements for Zwift:

Notes

  • We recommend using your personal computer for Zwift, as work computers tend to have limited permissions that prevent it from working properly.
  • Like most video games, Zwift primarily uses your computer's graphics card or chipset. Even if your CPU and memory are above minimum requirements, you may still be unable to load Zwift if your GPU is subpar.
  • Not sure where your CPU or GPU stands? See this article on ranking your hardware.

iPhones and iPads

Requires iOS 9.0 or later. Your device is supported if it is an iPhone SE, iPhone 5S or higher, iPad Air or higher, iPad Pro, iPad Mini 2 or higher, or iPod 6.

More information on how to identify your Apple TV generation is available on Apple's website; the big visible difference between older and newer models is the remote style.

Another easy check (if you already have an Apple TV) is to open the App Store: if your Apple TV is compatible, the Zwift app will show up; otherwise, it won't.
