Zwift Pricing Update

Effective November 16, 2017, we increased our monthly Zwift membership from USD$9.99 to USD$14.99 (your price may vary due to local currency or tax requirements).

If you were a paying Zwifter before November 16, you are automatically grandfathered for one year at your current pricing until November 15, 2018.

  • Any Zwifter who has paid for at least one month of Zwift, either directly or indirectly through our partners or a gift card, is eligible.
  • Zwifters who have temporarily suspended their membership will also be grandfathered. (Note: Zwifters paying via iTunes that decide to suspend their membership and renew must do so online by logging into their dashboard on zwift.com).

If you were enjoying our free trial with an account created before November 16, 2017 but never purchased a membership, you are eligible to join Zwift for a limited time offer of USD$9.99/month, but you must join before December 15, 2017. This offer cannot be redeemed via iTunes and must be purchased by logging into your dashboard on zwift.com.

Q: Why did Zwift raise its price?

A: We raised our monthly membership in order to continue to make Zwift a bigger, better and more beautiful experience to help you improve your cycling performance and achieve your fitness goals. From a scrappy little team that could all fit around a table and share a meal, Zwift’s staff continues to grow with programmers, artists, designers, testers, community managers, coaches, and an around the clock support staff working to help Zwifters when you have questions. Q: How do I know if I’m eligible for grandfathered pricing?

A: Log into your dashboard at zwift.com and navigate to Billing > Membership to view your membership options.

Q: I’m a paying Zwift member, is my price changing? If so, when?

A: If you were a paying member before November 16, 2017, you are automatically grandfathered at your current price until November 15, 2018. There is no need to take any action.

Q: I was a paying Zwift member in the past but I am no longer paying for Zwift. Can I sign back up at the old price?

A: Yes. If you ever purchased a Zwift membership prior to November 16, 2017, you will automatically receive grandfathered pricing when you renew your membership before November 15, 2018. Note: offer cannot be redeemed via iTunes and must be purchased by logging into your dashboard on zwift.com.

Q: I tried Zwift with the free trial but never bought a membership. What will my price be if I choose to buy a membership now that the price has increased?

A: We are offering grandfathered pricing to all Zwift account holders who created an account prior to November 16, 2017. To redeem this offer, you must purchase a Zwift membership with the account you’ve already created before December 15, 2017. Note: offer cannot be redeemed via iTunes and must be purchased by logging into your dashboard on zwift.com.

Q: If I cancel and come back, will my pricing change?

A: Eligible members can cancel, return to Zwift, and receive grandfathered pricing through November 15, 2018. Note: offer cannot be redeemed via iTunes and must be purchased by logging into your dashboard on zwift.com.

Q: I purchased a membership via iTunes, will my price change?

A: No. If you were paying via iTunes prior to November 16, 2017, your pricing will not change until November 15, 2018 so long as you do not cancel. Note: if you choose to cancel and rejoin Zwift between November 16, 2017 and November 15, 2018, you must do so by logging into your dashboard on zwift.com to receive grandfathered pricing. Due to Apple’s subscription process, rejoining via iTunes will result in you being charged the new price.

Q: I am grandfathered, but I mistakenly canceled and rejoined via iTunes and now I’m paying the new price. What should I do?

A: Eligible members who are being charged the new price via iTunes need to cancel their payment via iTunes and rejoin Zwift by logging into your dashboard on zwift.com. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund members for subscriptions purchased through iTunes at the new price.

Q: I'm currently a Zwifter and utilized a gift card or bundled promotion (Rapha, Bicycling Magazine, etc.) when I joined. My membership expires before November 2018. How much will my subscription cost when I rejoin?

A: Zwift members who have paid through a purchased gift card or purchased bundle will receive grandfathered pricing when their purchased term expires if they rejoin before November 15, 2018.

Q: I’m eligible for grandfathered pricing and currently paying in USD. Can I switch to pay in my local currency (AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, JPN)?

A: Yes. You’ll need to cancel your current payment method and rejoin via your dashboard on zwift.com. Offer cannot be redeemed via iTunes. Note: the price you pay may not match the current exchange rate and may vary due to local currency or tax requirements. All prices are inclusive of VAT.
