# Zwift Terms of Service FAQ

To help answer some frequently asked questions, we've put together this FAQ. If you'd like to check out Zwift's full Terms of Service, visit this [link](https://zwift.com/p/terms "link").

**Q:** What is considered a “commercial setting”?

A: Great question! The “commercial setting” definition centers around purpose of activity. If you are using Zwift for personal use and you just happen to be in a coffee shop or bike store, then you’re all good--Zwift for personal, non-commercial use is awesome in any setting. What you can’t do is “sell, resell or otherwise commercially use” Zwift in a place that is intended to make money--like selling tickets to watch a group of Zwifters race in a gaming center.

**Q:** Can I sell tickets to an event at my bike shop and have people race on Zwift?

A: No, this would not be permitted under our ToS without our consent. If you really want to do this, let us know and we’ll see if we can partner with you on the event.

**Q:** What if I stream or post photos of a ride/event?

A: As long as you aren’t trying to make money from the stream by selling tickets or a subscription, or charging or monetizing a race or competitive format that may compete with our eSports initiatives, then streaming or posting the event is totally fine. And if you don’t mind, please tag us so we can see!

**Q:** I use bots to stream my rides; can I still do that?

A: If you want to use bots, for any purpose, shoot us a note at [five-o@zwift.com](mailto:five-o@zwift.com "five-o@zwift.com") with your request. We have approved uses of bots in some cases, but any use of bots requires written consent which we’ll issue on a case-by-case basis.

**Q:** Can I promote my Zwift Racing Team?

A: Yes, so long as it is clear that Zwift is in no way affiliated with your team and has not officially sponsored your team. Instead, the team is just a group of really fun people who race on Zwift.

**Q:** Can I post screenshots of my Ride to share with my friends?

Yes, absolutely. We love that you’re sharing your rides with your friends.

**Q:** Can I have a Facebook Group for my team if Zwift is in the title?

A: Yes, but the group should not appear as if it is affiliated with or sponsored by Zwift. We suggest your group name include “community”, “riders”, “racers”, “runners”, “triathletes”, “fans”, “friends of”, etc. to help distinguish.

**Q:** Can I use Zwift’s logo as my personal or team/group’s social account(s)?

A: No, we ask that you do not do this because it will look like Zwift is officially sponsoring your group.

**Q:** Can I have Zwift in my social media handle?

A: Yes, so long as it does not appear that the handle is directly affiliated with or sponsored by Zwift. We suggest your group name include “community”, “riders”, “racers”, “runners”, “triathletes”, “fans”, “friends of”, etc. to help distinguish.

**Q:** What if my streams are monetized? Can I still stream Zwift?

A: Yes, it’s okay to stream your races so long as you aren’t charging anyone to access the stream, such as by selling tickets or charging for subscriptions, and you’re not otherwise commercializing the stream in a way that might compete with our eSports initiatives.

**Q:** Can I commentate on other people’s races or even my own?

A: Yes, but the stream can’t be monetized in the way described above.

**Q:** Can I make a kit or a tshirt for my own personal use with Zwift’s logo on it? Zwift is such a meaningful part of my training.

A: So, we do not condone any unauthorized uses of Zwift marks. That said, if you’re really just making a single shirt or kit for yourself in a good-spirited manner, it is highly unlikely Zwift lawyers will try to stop you. They love cool t-shirts too. But, if you’re making anything with the Zwift logo that you’re going to sell to anyone (even if you’re selling it at cost), we need to okay it first. Please email [partnerships@zwift.com](mailto:partnerships@zwift.com "partnerships@zwift.com") and give us a few days to get back to you.

**Q:** Can my team kit have the Zwift logo on it?

A: Sorry, no…. Not without running it by us first. Please email [partnerships@zwift.com](mailto:partnerships@zwift.com "partnerships@zwift.com") and give us a few days to get back to you.

**Q:** I run a website/blog, can I feature and review Zwift in writing?

Absolutely - we love getting reviews. If you are interested in writing a review, please contact [press@zwift.com](mailto:press@zwift.com "press@zwift.com") for more information.

**Q:** Do you have guidelines for when we need consent and what is fine?

A: If you aren’t sure if you need consent for something after reading these guidelines, please just reach out to [](mailto:nicelawyers@zwift.com)[nicelawyers@zwift.com](mailto:nicelawyers@zwift.com). The more details you can provide about what you’re looking to do, the easier everything flows. But we may need a few days to reply.
