# Using Your Trainer as a Bridge

With some trainers, you can use your trainer as a bridge to connect your Controls and Heart Rate devices to Zwift through the trainer. This can help if you're having trouble connecting devices over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or if you're using Zwift on Apple TV.

Apple TV supports a maximum of three BLE connections at the same time, including the Apple TV remote.

## Compatible Trainers

The following trainers support bridging:

*   Jetblack Victory
    
*   Wahoo KICKR CORE 2
    

## Compatible Devices

You can connect these devices through a compatible trainer:

*   Zwift Click V2
    
*   Zwift Play
    
*   Zwift Ride Controllers
    
*   Heart Rate Monitors
    

## Connecting Devices Through Your Trainer

1.  Open Zwift and sign in.
    
2.  In the **PAIRED DEVICES** screen, connect your trainer.
    
3.  Select the **CONTROLS** or **HEART RATE** tile.
    
4.  Select the compatible device with the trainer (![Trainer Bridge Icon](https://content-cdn.zwift.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/Sensor%20Relay%20Icon_37x36.png "Trainer Bridge Icon")) icon.

5.  Select **CLOSE**.
    

## Things to Know

*   If your trainer isn’t compatible, you can use the Zwift Companion app to create a bridge.
    
*   Zwift Play must be updated to at least firmware version 2.0.1.
    
*   The Zwift Click V2 has two controllers with multiple buttons on each.
