# Using the Zwift Companion App as a Bridge

If you're using Zwift on a computer or Apple TV®, you can use the Zwift Companion (ZC) app on your mobile device as a bridge to connect your devices to Zwift. The ZC app converts Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) signals from your devices into a format your computer or Apple TV can recognize.

## Things to Know

* Apple TV allows a maximum of three BLE devices (including the Apple TV's remote) to be connected at the same time. If you're using Zwift Play, you'll need to use the ZC app as a bridge to connect the controllers.

* Download the latest version of the Zwift Companion app from from [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zwift.android.prod&hl=en) (Android) or the [App Store](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/zwift-mobile-link/id934083691?mt=8) (iOS).

* Your mobile device and the device running Zwift must be connected to the same network.

## Connecting Using the Zwift Companion App

1. Allow the Zwift Companion (ZC) app to access Bluetooth:

    * **Android:** Make sure Bluetooth is turned on. The ZC app creates a bridge automatically when Location permissions are enabled.
