# Using the Heads Up Display when Cycling

When riding, the HUD includes the following:

## Menu

Access your profile, Garage, settings, and current activity summary from the Menu.

## Leaderboards/Ride Stats and Splits

Use the Action Bar to switch between:

*   Leaderboards for active segments
    
*   Ride Stats and Split data
    
*   Nothing
    

Shows your effort for your current sport—for example, relative to your FTP when cycling.

You can select which customizable metrics appear from the in-game settings.

## Left Display

Shows your current effort and data reported by your connected devices. You can select which customizable metrics appear from the in-game settings.

*   Heart Rate (BPM)
    
*   Energy Burned (CAL)
    
*   Power to Weight (W/KG)
    
*   Kilojoules (KJ)
    
*   Stress Points (SP)
    
*   Core Temperature (DEG)
    
*   Heat Strain Index (HSI)
    
*   Weighted Power (WP)
    
*   Power Balance (L/R)
    
*   Average W/KG
    
*   Average Speed
    
*   Split Average Power
    
*   Split Average Heart Rate
    
*   Split Average Cadence

Power output in watts.

*   **Zone 1 (Recovery, Grey):** below 60%
    
*   **Zone 2 (Endurance, Blue):** 60-75%
    
*   **Zone 3 (Tempo, Green):** 76-89%
    
*   **Zone 4 (Threshold, Yellow):** 90-104%
    
*   **Zone 5 (VO2 Max, Orange):**105-118%
    
*   **Zone 6 (Anaerobic, Red):** 118%

Alerts:

*   Connection issues (device disconnects).
    
*   System alerts (ANT+, Bluetooth, or internet connection issues).
    

Alerts appear at the top of the display and disappear when resolved or after 60 seconds.

Gear shown if virtual shifting is enabled.

## PowerUps

PowerUps provide temporary bonuses to performance or experience points. If you don't already have a PowerUp, you’ll receive one when passing through an arch.

Shows route and ride progress information.

Your current speed in Zwift.

Total distance for the ride.

Total elevation for the ride.

Moving Time

Time spent actively riding (pauses when stopped)

Drops

Currency earned during your ride.

Experience Points (XP)

Points earned toward leveling up.

Route Progress

Current route and completion progress.

Dynamic Elevation Display

Terrain for your current position and what’s ahead.

Segment Time

Active segment timing and estimated results.

## MiniMap

Shows your position on the route.

Features:

*   Select the mini-map to zoom.
    
*   Route name.
    
*   Gradient (%).
    
*   Distance/Time/Laps remining (varies by event type).
    

Course profile (bottom of mini-map) includes:

*   Lead-in distance (blue).
    
*   Progress (green).
    
*   Segment start markers.
    

## Zwifters Nearby

Shows a list of nearby Zwifters by proximity. You'll see their W/kg, relative position (ahead/behind), and activity duration. Icons indicate:
