# Updating Zwift

Keep Zwift up to date to get the latest features, bug fixes, and in-game content.

Most updates install automatically when you launch Zwift. If an update doesn't install automatically, follow the steps below for your device.

## Android, Apple TV, iOS

1.  Open your device's app store:
    *   [Google Play Store](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zwift.zwiftgame)
    *   [iOS App Store.](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/zwift-ride-and-run/id1134655040)
2.  Search for Zwift, if needed.
3.  If an update is available, select **Update**.

## Desktop

Follow the steps below for your operating system to manually update Zwift.

### Mac

1.  If you have a Z icon on your desktop, move it to the trash.
    
    *   If you don't have a Z icon on your desktop, continue to the next step.
        
2.  From the menu bar, select **Go** > **Applications**.
3.  Locate the **Zwift** icon.
4.  Right-click the Zwift icon and select **Copy**.
5.  On your desktop, right-click and select **Paste**.
6.  Launch Zwift from the new shortcut.

### PC

1.  Open the **Notification Area**.
2.  Right-click the **Z** icon.
    
    *   If you don't see the Z icon in the Notification Area, launch Zwift from the Start menu, then check the Notification Area again.
        
3.  Select **Check for Update Now**.
