# Troubleshooting and Support FAQ

**Q:** How do I contact Zwift Support?

A: If you run into a problem with Zwift, we always encourage you to search our [Support Hub](https://support.zwift.com/lang/en_us/) first—but we're always happy to help you out. Select this [link](https://www.zwift.com/contact-us) to contact Support.

**Q:** I am unable to locate Zwift on my desktop/home screen. Where is it?

A: When you first [download and install](https://support.zwift.com/en_us/downloading-and-launching-zwift-Skh3Z4eS) Zwift, it may launch automatically. For all future rides, you launch the game by double-clicking the icon on your desktop or tapping the Z icon—with the orange background—on your Android or iOS device.

**Q:** How do I re-download Zwift?

A: If you need to get Zwift on a different computer or re-download it to the same computer, simply head to [zwift.com/download](https://www.zwift.com/download/ " zwift.com/download") and select the appropriate Download button.

**Q:** My wheel-on trainer or speed sensor is giving me inaccurate readings and/or a tire slipping message. How do I fix it?

A: Since our calculations are based on a specific set of parameters—and the power curve is estimated—it introduces more places where things can go wrong. When issues occur, you may get inaccurate readings and/or receive a [Tire Slippage warning](https://support.zwift.com/en_us/tire-slippage-warning-ByownhmYr "Tire Slippage warning"). Check out our [zPower article](https://support.zwift.com/en_us/zpower-setup-r1XjaXbxr) to check your setup.

**Q:** Why is my power reading inaccurate?

A: If your power reading is showing higher or lower than expected watts, simply stop pedaling for 15-20 secs. When you start pedaling again, your power readings should be back to normal.

**Q:** I closed the game/it crashed. How do I get back to an event?

A:  Many events have late join enabled—this means you can join an event up to 30 minutes after the event has stated.

**Q:** I was misrouted! Can I rejoin the main group?

A:  If you were sent the wrong way in a group event, please reach out to us and include your log files and we’ll do what we can to help you out.

**Q:** What info should I have available when I contact Support?

A: If possible, have the following info available when you contact us:

* The platform you're using to run Zwift.

* The operating system version you're using (if applicable).

* The brands and model names of the equipment you’re using.

* How you're connecting your equipment.

* What you were doing—or attempting to do—when you encountered the problem.

* Were you running or riding?

* Were you participating in a group event?

* What world and route you were you on?

**Q:** How do I send my crash log to Community Support?

A: When troubleshooting a problem with our Community Support team, you may be asked to send in your device's crash logs. Check out our article for info on [sending in your crash logs](https://support.zwift.com/en_us/sending-crash-logs-to-support-HyaQj6nfS).

**Q:** How do I locate my Log files to send to Community Support?

A: When you contact our Support team, you may be asked to send us your log files. Follow the directions in our article to [locate the Zwift log files](https://support.zwift.com/en_us/locating-log-files-BykKO63fr) on your device. Your device automatically stores your last 10 log files—starting from "log.txt" as the most recent to "log (old 9).txt as the oldest. However; each time you launch Zwift, it will automatically create a new log and overwrite the oldest file.

Ride On.
