# Sending Your Computer Specs to Community Support

Follow these steps if we've asked you to send us your computer's specs for more troubleshooting.

## Locate Your ComputerSpecs File on PC

To locate your ComputerSpecs file on a PC, complete these steps:

1.  Locate the **Z** icon in the notification area of the taskbar.
    
    *   If needed, select **˄** to show hidden icons.
        
2.  Right-click the **Z** icon and select **Open Logs Folder**.
    
3.  Look for a file named **ComputerSpecs.txt**.
    

If you don’t see the file, generate a new one using the steps below.

### Generate a New ComputerSpecs File on PC

1.  In the Windows search bar, type "dxdiag".
2.  Select **dxdiag** from the results.
3.  In the **DirectX Diagnostic Tool** window, select **Save All Information**.
4.  Rename the file "ComputerSpecs".
5.  Save the file to your computer.

## Locate Your ComputerSpecs File on Mac

1.  Select the **Apple** menu.
2.  Select **About this Mac**.
    
3.  When the system specs window opens, doe one of the following:
    *   Copy the information shown in the window.
    *   Take a screenshot of the window.
