# Selecting a World and Route for Your Ride

Choose a world and route from the routes screen before starting your ride. Watopia is always available, while guest worlds rotate on a monthly schedule.

## Things to Know

*   Some routes include a lead-in—the distance you ride before reaching the start of the route. The lead-in appears in blue on the in-game map, while the main route appears in white.
    
*   The lead-in doesn’t count toward the route distance or route badge requirements.
    
*   If you continue for another lap after completing the route, you won’t ride the lead-in again.
    
*   Route duration is estimated using the FTP and weight in your public profile.
    

## Selecting a World and Route

1.  Select **ROUTES** from the Home Screen.

2.  Select **Watopia** or an available guest world.
    
    *   To see upcoming guest worlds, select World Schedule.
        
3.  Select your preferred route.
    
4.  Select START RIDE.
