# Route Badges

You can earn and collect route badges when you complete a [route](https://support.zwift.com/zwift-worlds-and-cycling-routes-rk3PMBUht) in Zwift for the first time. To earn a route badge, you'll have to complete the full distance of the route, including any lead-in if there is one.

Some routes include a lead-in distance that isn't part of the main route and doesn't count towards the route badge. This lead-in—a stretch of road you ride to get to the start of the route—is indicated in blue on the in-game map, while the actual route appears in white. If you decide to start another lap after completing a route with a lead-in, you won't have to do the lead-in again.

## Viewing Route Lead-Ins Before Riding

While most routes in Zwift have a lead-in, there are a few that don't. Follow these steps in-game to see if a route has a lead-in before riding:

1.  Select **ROUTES** from the Home Screen.

2.  Select a route and check below the map for any lead-in values.

## Viewing Route Lead-Ins While Riding

Once you're in a ride, you can see the lead in portion separated from the rest of the route in the progress bar. You'll also see a colored arch in the mini-map that marks the start of the route—pass through this arch a second time and you've completed one lap.

To complete a route, you'll need to stay on course. Avoid making any manual turn selections and ignore any prompts to turn so you stay on the correct route.

## Selecting a Route

When selecting your route, you can see which routes have a badge and which badges you've earned. If there's no icon next to the route name, the route does not have a badge.

## Earning a Route Badge With a RoboPacer

You can earn route badges when you ride with a RoboPacer, but keep the following in mind:

*   You must join the RoboPacer from the Home Screen. You won't earn the route badge if you join a RoboPacer from another ride.
    
*   You must pass the route start point and complete the entire route from that point to earn the route badge.
    
    If you join a RoboPacer when they're part way through a route, you'll have to ride more than the route distance to complete the route from start to finish and earn the route badge.
    
*   The route progress bar doesn't display when you're riding with a RoboPacer, but, you can see where the RoboPacer is on the route map—![RoboPacer Icon](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/Pace%20Partner%20Route%20Icon.png "RoboPacer Icon") this icon—when you select the route tile from the Home Screen. The orange circle on the map indicates the route start point.
    

## Saving Your Route Badge

When you've earned the route badge, you should see an on-screen notification pop up informing you of your achievement. Once that appears and you're done riding, you'll want to make sure to [save](https://support.zwift.com/saving-your-activity-ry3GI9i2K) and exit Zwift so your progress isn't lost.

## Viewing Your Route Badges

You can view your route badges from the home screen, or from the in-game menu if you've already started an activity.

1.  Open the **BADGES** screen.
    
    *   From the Home Screen, select your initials and then select **Achievements**.

    *   If you've started an activity, select **MENU**, then select **Badges**.

2.  Scroll down until you see the **Route Achievements** section.
    
    Badges you've earned show up in color, while badges you can still earn are gray.
