Manually Adjusting Your FTP
Functional Threshold Power (FTP) represents the highest wattage you can expect to average over a long time, usually between 40 minutes to an hour. In Zwift, your FTP is used to determine the difficulty of any workouts you do; the higher your FTP, the higher the wattage targets you're going to see during an interval. We recommend that you complete an FTP test to identify an accurate FTP number before starting any workouts to ensure the best results from your structured training.
If you feel that your FTP is too high or too low, you can always adjust your workout intensity during your workout or make a manual adjustment to your FTP in-game before your workout:
From the Home Screen, select your initials then select My profile.
Enter the value you'd like to use in the FTP field and then select SAVE.
Ride On.
