# Managing Your Club's Events

Club owners and moderators can create, edit, and share their own club events from the Zwift Companion (ZC) app.

## Creating an Event

To create a club event, follow these steps:

1.  If you haven't already, open the ZC app.
2.  Access the **CLUBS** page by completing one of the following:
    *   If you're using an Android device, select the ![Zwift Companion app menu button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Menu_Button.png "Menu Button") icon then select **Clubs**.
    *   If you're using an iOS device, select **CLUBS** in the bottom navigation bar.
3.  When the **CLUBS** screen displays, select the club you want to create an event for.
    
    Only club owners and moderators can create events.
    
4.  Scroll down to the **CLUB EVENTS** section then select **CREATE EVENT**.
5.  When the **CREATE EVENT** window opens select ![](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/Clubs_Event_Cycle.PNG) to create a cycling event or select ![](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/Clubs_Event_Run.PNG) to create a running event.
6.  Select from the following options depending on your sport:
    *   **[Group Ride](#Group_Ride/Run)**.
    *   **[Group Run](#Group_Ride/Run)**.
    *   **[Group Workout](#Group_Workout)**.

### Group Ride or Group Run

1.  Select from one of the **SUGGESTED TEMPLATES** or scroll down and select **ROUTES** to pick your desired route.
    *   If selecting your own route, select your desired world and route then select **OK**.
2.  When the **CUSTOMIZE YOUR EVENT** screen displays, complete these steps:
    1.  If desired, edit your **EVENT TITLE**.
    2.  Select the date and time for your event in the **WHEN WOULD YOU LIKE TO RIDE?** field then select **Done**.
    3.  Enter a description for your event in the **DESCRIBE YOUR EVENT** field.
    4.  Select your **EVENT GROUPS**.
        *   Select **+ADD GROUP** to toggle sub groups on or off.
    5.  Select ![Zwift Companion app clubs add member button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Club_Add_Member.png "Add Member") under **WHO IS YOUR RIDE LEADER?** if you want to assign a ride leader.
        *   Select the ![Zwift Companion app clubs add member button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Club_Add_Member.png "Add Member") icon next to the name of the person you want to make the ride leader then select **OK**.
    6.  Select ![Zwift Companion app clubs add member button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Club_Add_Member.png "Add Member") under **WHO IS YOUR RIDE SWEEPER?** if you want to assign a ride sweeper.
        *   Select the ![Zwift Companion app clubs add member button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Club_Add_Member.png "Add Member") icon next to the name of the person you want to make the ride sweeper then select **OK**.
    7.  Set the **Distance**, **Duration**, or **Laps** for your event.
    8.  Under **EVENT SETTINGS**, select **Change Settings** to set the following:
        *   **LATE JOIN:** toggle to set to on or off.
        *   **KEEP EVERYONE TOGETHER**: toggle to set to on or off.
            
            Selecting Keep Everyone Together will prevent people from dropping from the group while they are riding. If anyone in the event stops pedaling, they'll be dropped from the group, and it may be difficult to rejoin.
            
        *   **EVENT RESULTS:** toggle to set to on or off.
        *   **WOMEN ONLY:** toggle to set to women only.
        *   **VISIBILITY:** Select **Only club members can join** or **Anyone with the event link can join**.
3.  When you're happy with your event, select **PUBLISH EVENT**.

### Group Workout

1.  Select your desired workout from the Suggested Templates.
    
2.  If desired, enter your **EVENT TITLE**.
    
3.  Select the date and time for your event in the **WHEN WOULD YOU LIKE TO RIDE?** field .
    
4.  If desired, you can edit the **DESCRIBE YOUR EVENT** field.
    
5.  Select ![Zwift Companion app clubs add member button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Club_Add_Member.png "Add Member") under **WHO IS YOUR RIDE LEADER?** if you want to assign a ride leader.
    
    *   Select the ![Zwift Companion app clubs add member button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Club_Add_Member.png "Add Member") icon next to the name of the person you want to make the ride leader then select **OK**.
6.  Select **Change Route** if you want to change the route.
    
7.  Under **EVENT SETTINGS**, select **Change Settings** to set the following:
    *   **LATE JOIN:** toggle to set to on or off.
    *   **WOMEN ONLY:** toggle to set to women only.
    *   **VISIBILITY:** Select **Only club members can join** or **Anyone with the event link can join**.
8.  When you're happy with your event, select **PUBLISH EVENT**.

## Editing an Event

To edit a club event, follow these steps:

1.  If you haven't already, open the ZC app.
2.  Access the **MY CLUBS** page by completing one of the following:
    *   If you're using an Android device, select the ![Zwift Companion app menu button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Menu_Button.png "Menu Button") icon then select **Clubs**.
    *   If you're using an iOS device, select **CLUBS** in the bottom navigation bar.
3.  When the **CLUBS** screen displays, select the club you want to edit an event for.
    
4.  Scroll down to **CLUB EVENTS** to view all scheduled club events.
    
5.  Select the event you'd like to edit.
    
6.  Select the ![Zwift Companion app clubs menu button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Club_Menu_Button.png "Menu Button") icon in the top right corner then select **EDIT**.
    
7.  You can now modify or update any of the details for your event.
8.  When you're happy with your event details, select **PUBLISH EVENT**.
    
    If you'd like to change an element that's not included in this list, please submit a [change request](https://gozwift.kustomer.help/contact/event-change-request-HkA34mv5H)—as soon as possible, but at least 24 hours before the scheduled start—and we'll be happy to look into it.
    

## Sharing an Event

Follow these steps to share a club event:

1.  If you haven't already, open the ZC app.
2.  Access the **MY CLUBS** page by completing one of the following:
    *   If you're using an Android device, select the ![Zwift Companion app menu button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Menu_Button.png "Menu Button") icon then select **Clubs**.
    *   If you're using an iOS device, select **CLUBS** in the bottom navigation bar.
3.  When the **CLUBS** screen displays, select the club you want to edit an event for.
    
4.  Scroll down to **CLUB EVENTS** to view all scheduled club events.
    
5.  Select the event you'd like to share.
    
6.  Select the ![Zwift Companion app clubs menu button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Club_Menu_Button.png "Menu Button") icon in the top right corner then select **SHARE**.
    
7.  You can now select how you'd like to share your event link.
