# Managing Followers

When you follow someone on Zwift you can view their stats, their activities, and invite them to a [meetup](https://support.zwift.com/en_us/creating-a-cycling-meetup-with-zwift-companion-HJP7iUd4r "article"). You can also easily give a ride on to people you follow from the Zwift Companion (ZC) app when they're riding.

When you follow someone and they also follow you, you can [teleport](https://support.zwift.com/en_us/teleporting-in-zwift-ByCwOYCUn "article") to each other if you're both free riding in the same world and the same sport at the same time.

## Following a Zwifter

In Zwift, you can follow up to 5,000 Zwifters at a time. Keep in mind, if you've requested to follow another member and they haven't accepted your request, it will count towards the total number of individuals you follow. You can follow another Zwifter from the ZC app by following the steps below:

If the Zwifter you're trying to follow has a private profile, you won't immediately be able to follow them; they will have to approve your request first.

1.  Navigate to **FIND ZWIFTERS**.
    *   If you're using an Android device, select the ![Zwift Companion app menu button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Menu_Button.png "Menu Button") icon, then select **Find Zwifters**.
    *   If you're using an iOS device, select ![](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC%20iOS%20More.png) then select **FIND ZWIFTERS**.
2.  Enter the name of the Zwifter you'd like to follow in the **Search Zwifters** field, then search.
3.  Once you've found the Zwifter you're looking for, select ![White outline of plus sign and person over an orange background](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/Advanced%20Features/Add%20Follower_29x29.png "Add Follower Button") next to their name to follow.
    
    *   To cancel a follow request, select ![Select Icon](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/Follow%20Request%20Pending%20Approval.png "Select Icon")next to the name of the Zwifter you no longer want to follow.
        

## Favoriting a Follower

You can set someone you follow, or someone who follows you as a favorite. Once you set someone as a favorite, you'll receive a notification when they start a ride or run if you have [push notifications enabled](https://support.zwift.com/managing-your-notifications-in-zwift-companion-r1XJNjBg9). You can favorite a Zwifter from the [ZC app](#Favoriting_a_Follower) or [Zwift.com](#Zwift.com_Favorite) by completing the steps below:

### ZC App

1.  Navigate to your profile.
    *   If you're using an Android device, select the ![Zwift Companion app menu button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Menu_Button.png "Menu Button") icon, then select your photo.
    *   If you're using an iOS device, tap your photo in the top-left.
2.  Once in your profile, select **FOLLOWING** or **FOLLOWERS**.
3.  Select ![Dark grey start on a light grey banner](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/Advanced%20Features/Favorite_30x30.png "Favorite Icon") next to the Zwifter you want to favorite.

### Zwift.com

1.  Go to [zwift.com/feed](https://zwift.com/feed).
2.  Select **MY PROFILE**.

3.  Select **FOLLOWING** or **FOLLOWERS**.

4.  Select the profile of the Zwifter you want to favorite.
5.  Select **ADD TO FAVORITES**.

Once you've favorited a fellow Zwifter—you'll see ![Yellow start with blue favorite text](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/Advanced%20Features/Favorite2_62x24.jpg "Favorite Icon") in the top right corner.

## Unfollowing a Zwifter

If you no longer want to follow a Zwifter, complete these steps in either the [ZC app](#ZC_App_Unfollow) or [Zwift.com](#Zwift.com_Unfollow):

### ZC App

1.  Navigate to your profile.
    
    *   If you're using an Android device, select the ![Zwift Companion app menu button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Menu_Button.png "Menu Button") icon, then select your photo.
    *   If you're using an iOS device, tap your photo in the top-left.
2.  Once in your profile, select **FOLLOWING**.
    
3.  Select ![White outline of the letter "x" and a person](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/Advanced%20Features/Remove%20Follower_29x29.png "Remove Follower Icon") next to the follower you want to unfollow.

### Zwift.com

1.  Go to [zwift.com/feed](https://zwift.com/feed).
2.  Select **MY PROFILE**.

3.  Select **FOLLOWING**.

4.  Select the profile of the Zwifter you want to unfollow.
5.  Select **UNFOLLOW**.

## Removing a Follower

To remove someone from following you, complete these steps in the ZC app:

1.  Navigate to your profile.
    
    *   If you're using an Android device, select the ![Zwift Companion app menu button](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/ZC_Menu_Button.png "Menu Button") icon, then select your photo.
    *   If you're using an iOS device, tap your photo in the top-left.
2.  Once in your profile, select **FOLLOWERS**.
    
3.  Select the profile of the user you wish to remove from following you.
    
4.  In the top-right corner of the screen, select ![White ellipsis points on a dark grey background](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/Advanced%20Features/Dots_32x32.png "Menu Button").
5.  Select **Remove Follower**.
