Zwift and Third-party Platforms

Zwift can connect with a number of third-party platforms allowing you to automatically, or manually, upload your industry standard .fit file after working out in Zwift. With certain third-party platforms, you'll also be able to see and complete your scheduled third-party workouts in Zwift. After connecting your accounts, any future Zwift activities will automatically upload to most linked third-party platforms. While your previous activities won't automatically upload—you can manually upload historical Zwift .fit files to some supported platforms. Connecting to a Third-party Platform 

While some third-party connections can be initiated from Zwift, for other platforms you'll need to initiate the connection from the third-party's side. Check out the table below for more info. To connect to a third-party account from Zwift, follow these steps:

Zwift Companion (ZC) App

  1. Sign in to the ZC app.
  2. Complete one of the following based on your device:
    • If using an iOS device, select the More button in the bottom right-corner.
    • If using an Android device, select the Menu button for androids in Zwift Companian app button in the top left-corner.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Connections.
  5. Select White plus sign in an orange background button  under the third-party platform you wish to connect and sign in.

    If you don't see the third-party platform you want to connect to, check the table below. You may need to initiate the connection from the third-party's side.

  6. Sign in to your third-party account and authorize the connection.

Zwift.com

  1. Go to zwift.com/settings/connections and if necessary, sign in.
  2. Select Connect under the third-party site you wish to connect with.
  3. Sign in to your third-party account and authorize the connection.

Disconnecting from a Third-party Platform

Whether or not you connected to a third-party platform from Zwift, you can disconnect from Zwift by following the below steps:

Zwift Companion App

  1. Sign in to the ZC app.
  2. Complete one of the following based on your device:
    • If using an iOS device, select the More button in the bottom right-corner.
    • If using an Android device, select the Menu button for Androids in Zwift Companion app button in the top left-corner.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Connections.
  5. Select White checkmark set in a gray background button under the third-party site you wish to disconnect from.

Zwift.com

  1. Go to zwift.com/settings/connections and if necessary, sign in.
  2. Select Disconnect under the third-party site you wish to disconnect from.

  • You can manually send up to five FasCat cycling workouts to Zwift at one time.

Connect and sync your activities to your FinalSurge account.

  • Your FinalSurge workouts will automatically show up in Zwift on the day they are scheduled. You can also manually send your FinalSurge workouts to Zwift.

  • If you select Opt In for ZwiftPower or Zwift GPS, your gender, country, weight, height, name, and heart rate may be publicly shared with other visitors to these sites.

 

 

Intervals.icu

Connect and sync your activities to your Intervals.icu account.

  • Your Intervals.icu cycling workouts will automatically show up in Zwift on the day they are scheduled.

    Only cycling—and not running—workouts can be sent to Zwift from Intervals.icu.

  • Full data from your Intervals.icu workouts completed in Zwift will automatically upload to Intervals.icu.

JOIN.cc

Connect and sync your activities to your JOIN.cc account.

  • You can manually send up to five JOIN.cc cycling workouts to Zwift at one time.

  • Full data from your JOIN.cc cycling workouts completed in Zwift will automatically upload to JOIN.cc.

MAPMYRIDE®

Connect and post activities to your MapMyFitness account.

Strava

Connect and post activities to your Strava account.

  • Images from your workouts will automatically upload to Strava® and include a banner that gives other users the opportunity to learn more about Zwift. For more information on disabling image uploads in Zwift, check out our article on Image Uploading.

  • Activities completed in Zwift are set to the local time on your device. When activities are uploaded to Strava, Strava uses the timezone on your Strava profile—this may result in a discrepancy between when you completed your activity in Zwift and the time shown in Strava. Check out Strava's support article for info on updating your location.

 

 

TechnoGym

Connect and post activities to your MyWellness account.

  • Images from your workouts will automatically upload to TechnoGym® and include a banner that gives other users the opportunity to learn more about Zwift. For more information on disabling image uploads in Zwift, check out our article on Image Uploading.

 

 

TrainerRoad

Connect and sync your cycling activities to your TrainerRoad account.

  • Your TrainerRoad cycling workouts will automatically show up in Zwift on the day they are scheduled.

    Only cycling—and not running—workouts can be sent to Zwift from TrainerRoad.

  • Full data from your TrainerRoad workouts completed in Zwift—including your Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE)—will automatically upload to TrainerRoad.

TrainingPeaks™

Connect, sync, and post activities to your TrainingPeaks account.

  • The workouts you create in TrainingPeaks™ will automatically show up in Zwift on the day they are scheduled.

TriDot

Connect and sync your activities to your TriDot account.

  • You can manually send your TriDot workouts to Zwift and your workouts for the next seven days will show up in Zwift. If you choose to allow TriDot to automatically send your workouts to Zwift, you can see and complete your TriDot workouts for that current day.

  • Full data from your TriDot workouts completed in Zwift will automatically upload to TriDot.

    Make sure to set Zwift as the primary data source when you initiate the connection.

 

 

WahooConnect and post activities to your Wahoo account.

 

 

Xert

Connect and sync your activities to your Xert account.

  • You can manually or automatically send your Xert cycling workouts for the current day to Zwift.

    Only cycling—and not running—workouts can be sent to Zwift from Xert.

  • Full data from your Xert cycling workouts completed in Zwift will automatically upload to Xert.

Troubleshooting

Sometimes there can be issues connecting your third-party platforms to Zwift. If you run into issues, complete these troubleshooting steps:

  • Check you have cookies and Javascript enabled for both Zwift.com and any third-party websites.
  • Check you're using the most recent version of your internet browser.
  • Clear your browser cache to resolve any cache related issues. For steps on clearing you cache, check out refreshyourcache.com.
  • If you don't see the option to Auto-send to Zwift in your TriDot preferences, try disconnecting then reconnecting your Zwift account from TriDot.
