# Installing New Pedals on Your Zwift Ride

Your Zwift Ride comes with pedals included, but, if you'd rather install something different, just follow the steps below:

The Zwift Ride uses standard 9/16″ pedal threads, compatible with most pedals.

1. If necessary, remove the included pedals installed on your Zwift Ride:

    1. Using your frame key, loosen the right pedal from the right crank.

    2. Once loosened, remove the right pedal from the right crank, labeled R.

    3. Using your frame key, loosen the left pedal from the left crank.

    4. Once loosened, remove the left pedal from the left crank, labeled L.

2. Store your frame key in the dock on the frame.

3. Install your new pedals.

    1. Match the right pedal with the right crank, labeled R.

    2. Hand screw the pedal into the crank until it's secure—follow the direction shown on the crank.

    3. Using a tool recommended by your pedal manufacturer, tighten the right pedal.

    4. Match the left pedal with the left crank, labeled L.

    5. Hand screw the pedal into the crank until it's secure—follow the direction shown on the crank.

    6. Using a tool recommended by your pedal manufacturer, tighten the left pedal.

Ride On.
