# Installing a New Saddle on Your Zwift Ride

Your Zwift Ride comes with a unisex short-nose saddle. You can replace it with another compatible saddle.

## Things to Know

*   Your new saddle must have standard 7 mm round rails.
    
*   Saddles with carbon rails aren't compatible with the Zwift Ride.
    

## Remove the Existing Saddle

1.  Using your frame key, loosen and remove the adjustment bolt directly underneath the saddle.

2.  Remove the two outer clamp casings.

3.  Slide the saddle off the clamp rails.
    
    The inner adapters will fall out when the saddle is removed.
    

## Install the New Saddle

1.  Starting with one side, position the new saddle rail in the appropriate clamp channel. Make sure the saddle is facing forward.

2.  Position the second rail and press down on the saddle to insert the second rail.

3.  Adjust the saddle:
    
    1.  Slide the saddle forward or back until you're happy with the position.
        
    2.  Tilt the saddle up or down until you're happy with the position.
        
    
    Do not make any adjustments while mounted on or riding the Zwift Ride.
    
4.  Using your frame key, tighten the adjustment bolt directly underneath the saddle.
    
    *   If you have a torque wrench, tighten the bolt to 15Nm.
        
5.  Sit on the saddle to double-check the position. If needed, make further adjustments.
    
6.  When you're happy with your adjustments, store your frame key in the dock on the frame.
    

## If You Remove the Bolt and Clamps

If you remove the bolt and clamps, use the diagram below when reinstalling them.
