Some routes include a lead-in distance that isn't part of the main route and doesn't count towards the route achievement. This lead-in—a stretch of road you ride to get to the start of the route—is indicated in blue on the in-game map, while the actual route appears in white. If you decide to start another lap after completing a route with a lead-in, you won't have to do the lead-in again.
