# Force Closing Zwift

There are many times when force closing and relaunching Zwift can solve issues you're experiencing in-game. Check out these steps below for more info on force closing Zwift.

## PC

On your PC, complete these steps:

1.  If you’re currently Zwifting, or you've just finished Zwifting, end and save or discard your activity.
    
2.  Press the **Ctrl** \+  **Alt** \+  **Delete** keys on your keyboard.
3.  Select **Task Manager**.
4.  In the **Task Manager** window, right-click on **ZwiftApp** and select **End task**.

## Mac

On your Mac, complete these steps:

1.  If you’re currently Zwifting, or you've just finished Zwifting, end and save or discard your activity.
    
2.  Press the **Option** + **Command** + **Esc** keys on your keyboard.
3.  When the **Force Quit Applications** window loads, select **ZwiftApp**.
4.  Select **Force Quit**.

## tvOS

On your tvOS device, complete these steps:

1.  If you’re currently Zwifting, or you've just finished Zwifting, end and save or discard your activity.
    
2.  On your Apple TV remote, double-click the ![](https://zwiftdmz-marcom-us-east.s3.amazonaws.com/support/EN/Cycling/Content/Resources/Images/Apple_TV_Home_Button.png) button.
3.  Swipe the trackpad to the right or left until you see Zwift.
4.  Swipe up on the trackpad to close the game.

## iOS

On your iOS device, complete these steps:

1.  If you’re currently Zwifting, or you've just finished Zwifting, end and save or discard your activity.
    
2.  If your device doesn't have a physical button on the front, follow these steps:
    1.  Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle.
    2.  When the app previews load, swipe to the left or right as necessary to find Zwift.
3.  If your device has a physical button on the front, follow these steps:
    1.  Double-click the home button.
    2.  When the app previews load, swipe to the left or right as necessary to find Zwift.
4.  When you find Zwift's preview, swipe up completely to close the game.

## Android

On your Android device, complete these steps:

1.  If you’re currently Zwifting, or you've just finished Zwifting, end and save or discard your activity.
    
2.  Open the **Settings** app.
3.  Select **Apps**.
4.  Select **Zwift**.
5.  Select **Force Stop**.
