# Connecting Elite® Trainers

Our in-game trainer names are based on physical appearance and not model name—so there’s a good chance the name you see in-game won't match the model of your Elite trainer. To help you pick the right trainer in-game, we’ve created the chart below.

If you have a B+ trainer that is not in the table above, it's probably considered a Zwift wheel-on trainer that requires [Zpower](https://support.zwift.com/en_us/zpower-setup-r1XjaXbxr "Zpower") to operate.

## Connecting an ANT+ Trainer

1.  Depending on the device you're using to run Zwift, connect the following:
    
    *   **PC:** ANT+ dongle.
        
    *   **Android, iOS, Mac OS:** A 4iiii Viiiiva HRM or Cable NPE to create a bridge.
        
2.  If you haven't already, mount your bike to the trainer.
    
3.  Plug in your trainer.
    
4.  Open Zwift and sign in.
    
5.  In the **PAIRED DEVICES** screen, select **POWER SOURCE**.
    
6.  Select your trainer.
    
    *   You may need to pedal your bike to wake up the trainer.
        
7.  Select **RESISTANCE** and **CADENCE** to pair your trainer to those options and then select the appropriate tile for any additional devices you want to pair then select your appropriate device.
    
8.  Once you're all connected, select **OK**.
    

## Connecting a Wired Elite Trainer

Follow these steps to set up a wired Elite trainer:

Not all wired Elite trainers are supported by Zwift. If your trainer isn't showing up in the **PAIRED DEVICES** screen, we suggest [contacting Elite](https://support.elite-it.com/ticket) to confirm it's not a trainer compatibility issue. In addition, if you are noticing that [ERG](https://support.zwift.com/en_us/erg-mode-in-workouts-SkQJC8OEH) mode isn't supported on your model, we recommend you [contact Elite](https://support.elite-it.com/ticket).

For the most part, Elite models manufactured after 2006 should work with Zwift without any issues.

1.  If you haven't already, mount your bike to the trainer.
    
2.  Plug in your trainer.
    
3.  Connect your trainer to your PC or Mac.
    
    *   If you're using a Mac, install the appropriate driver depending on your OSX version.
        
4.  Open Zwift and sign in.
    
5.  In the **PAIRED DEVICES** screen, select **POWER SOURCE**.
    
6.  Select your trainer.
    
    *   You may need to pedal your bike to wake up the trainer.
        
7.  Select **RESISTANCE** and **CADENCE** to pair your trainer to those options and then select the appropriate tile for any additional devices you want to pair then select your appropriate device.
    
8.  Once you're all connected, select **OK**.
    

## Connecting an Elite Turbo Muin

In order to ride an Elite Turbo Muin, you'll need the [Misuro B+](https://www.elite-it.com/en/products/accessories/sensors/misuro-b "Misuro B+") sensor. With it in place, your trainer will transmit speed and power data directly to Zwift. Here’s how to connect your trainer:

The Real Turbo Muin, Real Turbo Muin B+, and Turbo Muin Smart B+ all come with the Misuro B+ installed.

1.  If you haven't already, mount your bike to the trainer.
    
2.  Plug in your trainer.
    
3.  Set the appropriate "sensor blinking lights" for the hometrainer to be used with the Misuro B+ as described in [Elite's instruction manual](https://www.shopelite-it.com/uploads/ART/0145106/MANUALE_MISURO_B.pdf "Elite's instruction manual").
    
4.  Open Zwift and sign in.
    
5.  In the **PAIRED DEVICES** screen, select **POWER SOURCE** or **SPEED SENSOR**.
    
    We recommend selecting POWER SOURCE as this allows Zwiftto get a direct power reading from the sensor instead of calculating power based on speed.
    
6.  Select your trainer.
    
    *   You may need to pedal your bike to wake up the trainer.
        
7.  Select **RESISTANCE** and **CADENCE** to pair your trainer to those options and then select the appropriate tile for any additional devices you want to pair then select your appropriate device.
    
8.  Once you're all connected, select **OK**.
    

## Calibrating an Elite Trainer

To get the most out of Zwift, we recommend calibrating your Elite trainer before your first ride or if you're having issues with accuracy. To calibrate your trainer, you'll need to use the [My E-Training app](https://www.elite-it.com/en/products/app-software/my-e-training).

If you have an ANT+ FE-C model, your calibration info is stored directly in your trainer.
