# Connecting a Wattbike

Whether you have a [Wattbike Pro](#Wattbike) or a [Wattbike Atom](#Wattbike2), we've got you covered. Check out the connection steps below.

## Wattbike Pro

For your Wattbike Pro to work with Zwift, it’ll need a Model B monitor that was sold after 2013. This monitor is what transmits data from your bike to Zwift—in either BLE or ANT+. If you’re not sure what model you have, check the back of your monitor. Prior to connecting to Zwift, complete the steps below:

1. [Update the firmware on the Model B](https://support.wattbike.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115003843625-Model-B-Performance-Monitor-Firmware-Update-MOD-Firmware) computer to the latest available version.
2. On your Wattbike monitor, set your ANT+ channel to the combined **Bike Speed and Cadence and Power (SPC & PWR)** channel.

Check out [Wattbike's video tutorial](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOPYkeHTOzo) for info linking ANT devices.

3. To prevent cadence interruptions, turn off the Wattbike speed/cadence ANT + stream.

The Wattbike will still transmit cadence as long as the power stream is turned on.

### Connecting via Bluetooth
