# Completing an Internet SPEEDTEST®

For Zwift to run correctly, we recommend an internet connection with a bandwidth of 3 Mbps or higher, with a ping under 50 ms. If you find that your speeds are below our recommendations, or you have a higher ping, you'll want to do what you can to improve your internet connection. We also recommend contacting your internet service provider as the issue could be one that they can resolve. To complete a SPEEDTEST®, follow these steps:

1.  Go to [www.SPEEDTEST.net](https://www.speedtest.net/ "www.SPEEDTEST.net").
2.  Below **GO** , select **Change Server**.
3.  Seelct a server in Los Angeles.
4.  Select **GO**.

If your ping time is higher than 50ms, you'll likely experience performance issues.
