# Climb Portal

Climb Portal lets you ride simulated versions of real-world climbs from the comfort of your own home! The Climb Portals located in Watopia and France give you access to [GPS-accurate climbs](https://support.zwift.com/climb-portal-climbs-HkOFfZ222) from around the world.

## Accessing a Climb Portal

To access the Climb Portals, you can:

*   Select a Climb Portal route from the **ROUTES** screen.
    
    Select ROUTES from the Home Screen to explore available routes.

*   Select a Climb Portal tile from the Home Screen.

*   Select to turn into a Climb Portal from an intersection when free-riding in Watopia or France.
    
    Pro Tip: You'll want to ride near the north side of the volcano in Watopia and the north side of the map in France.

*   Join a campaign that uses Climb Portal.
    

## Adjusting Climb Elevation

When you select a Climb Portal route from the Home Screen, you can adjust the meters/feet you climb. Feeling like taking it easy? You can reduce the ascent to 50% or 75% of the real world elevation. Ready to challenge yourself even more? Once you've completed a climb at 100% of the real world elevation gain, you'll unlock the option to complete the climb at 125%.
