# Checking Your Game and Launcher Version

Follow the steps below if you ever need to check your game version or, on PC/Mac, your launcher version:

Zwift game updates are released in phases. You may not receive the latest version immediately, even if an update is available. For info on the current game version, check out this [forum page](https://forums.zwift.com/t/what-are-the-latest-zwift-app-version-numbers/486839).

## Checking Your Game Version

You can quickly check your Zwift game version on the Zwift log in screen:

*   **Desktop:** The game version shows briefly in the LOG IN screen while the game is loading after logging in.
    
*   **iOS/Android/tvOS:** The game version is shown in the bottom right corner after opening the app.
    

If you've already signed in to Zwift, you can view your game version from your in-game settings:

1.  Open **SETTINGS**.
    
    *   **From the Home Screen:** Select your initials then select **My settings**.
    *   **During an activity:** Select **MENU** and then **Settings**.
2.  Select **ABOUT** to see info on your game version.
    

## Checking Your Launcher Version

If you're running Zwift on a desktop, Zwift starts with a launcher—a small window that appears before the game loads. The launcher manages updates and logging in to Zwift. To check your launcher version, follow these steps:

The launcher updates separately from the game and will automatically update before you log in if needed.

### Mac

You can find the launcher version on a Mac by following these steps:

1.  Open Zwift.
2.  In the macOS® menu bar, select **Zwift**.
3.  Locate the game and launcher version in the drop-down menu.

### PC

You can find the launcher version on a PC by following these steps:

1.  Locate the ![Z Icon](https://content-cdn.zwift.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/Notification Area Z Icon.png "Z Icon") icon in the notification area of the taskbar.
    
    You may need to select ![Arrow up](https://content-cdn.zwift.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/Troubleshooting/icon_46x41.png "Arrow Up") to show hidden icons.
    
2.  Right-click the ![Z Icon](https://content-cdn.zwift.com/support/EN/Cycling/Resources/Images/Notification Area Z Icon.png "Z Icon") icon.
    
3.  Locate the launcher version in the window displayed.
