# Changing Your Zwift Click Battery

Each Zwift Click comes with a CR2032 battery installed, which should last over 100 hours. When the LED on the Zwift Click flashes orange, you'll know the battery needs to be replaced. If you need to change the battery, follow these steps:

Replace the battery only with the same type (CR2032). Keep new and used batteries out of reach of children—hazardous if swallowed.

You can also see the battery status in the PAIRED DEVICES screen.

You'll need two CR2032 batteries for the Zwift Click V2.

1.  Remove the Zwift Click from your handlebar by unhooking the rubber attachment bands.
    
2.  Using a small Phillips-head (crosshead) screwdriver, unscrew the four screws from the back cover of the Zwift Click.
    
3.  Remove the CR2032 battery from the Zwift Click.
    
4.  Insert the new battery into the back cover with the + side down.
    
    If your new battery comes with a plastic cover, make sure to remove it before installing.
    
5.  Check the seal—the white or gray strip—hasn't moved.
    
    *   If the seal has moved, push it back into place so it's positioned as shown below, depending if you have the Zwift Click V1 or V2.

6.  Place the back cover into position.
    
    If you're changing the battery in a Zwift Click v1, make sure to position the back cover so the gap fits over the contact shown on the left in the image above.
    
7.  Insert the four screws and tighten evenly to ensure a good seal.
    
8.  Check that you can't see any of the internal seal—the white or gray stripe. If you can, remove the screws and reposition the seal before retightening.
    
9.  Press any button on the Zwift Click to power on and check everything's working.
