# Can't Connect Garmin Tacx NEO 3M to Zwift Known Issue

## Issue Summary

We're aware of an issue where pressing the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) bonding button on the side of the Tacx NEO 3M doesn't initiate a connection when running Zwift on a PC.

## Workaround

If you're experiencing the above issue, try the following workaround:

1. If you have Zwift open, close the game.

2. Type **Bluetooth and other device settings** into the Windows search field.

3. Open **Bluetooth and other device settings** and update the Bluetooth discovery settings:

    * **Windows 10:** Select **More Bluetooth options**, check the box for **Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC**, then select **OK**.

    * **Windows 11:** Scroll to Devices settings, then select **Advanced** for **Bluetooth devices discovery**.

4. Press the BLE bonding button on the Tacx NEO 3M—located on the left side.

The LED on the trainer will flash blue.

5. Wait for your computer to discover the trainer and pair to it. Once successfully paired, close the setting page.

6. Open Zwift, sign in, and connect your trainer in the **PAIRED DEVICES** screen.

If you’re still unable to connect to the trainer, you may need to reset the security keys shared during the connection process:

1. Type **Bluetooth and other device settings** into the Windows search field.

2. Open **Bluetooth and other device settings** and locate the trainer.

3. Select the trainer and select **Remove device**.

4. Press and hold the BLE bonding button on your Tacx NEO 3M to perform a factory reset.

5. Follow the steps above to reconnect the trainer.
