# Adjusting Your Zwift Ride

Use the fit guide to set up your Zwift Ride, then fine-tune each adjustment for a more comfortable riding position.

1.  Match your height to the fit chart on your Zwift Ride.
    
2.  Set the recommended Saddle, Bars, and Reach positions.
    
3.  Fine-tune the fit using the adjustment guides below.

Do not make adjustments while mounted on or riding the Zwift Ride.  
Regularly check that all adjustment bolts are secure.  
Do not remove or adjust screws or bolts that aren't identified in these instructions.

## Adjusting Your Handlebar Controller Height

1.  Using the frame key, loosen the adjustment bolt on the front leg.

2.  Slide the stem up or down until you're happy with the position.
    
3.  Using the frame key, tighten the adjustment bolt on the front leg.
    
    *   If you have a torque wrench, tighten the adjustment bolt to 10 Nm.
        

## Adjusting Your Handlebar Controller Reach

1.  Remove the phone tray mat or tablet tray mat.
    
2.  Using your frame key, loosen the adjustment bolt on the handlebar controller.

3.  Slide the handlebar controller forward or back until you're happy with the position.
    
4.  Using the frame key, tighten the adjustment bolt on the handlebar controller.
    
    *   If you have a torque wrench, tighten the adjustment bolt to 10 Nm.
        
5.  Place the phone tray mat, or the tablet tray mat.
    

## Adjusting Your Handlebar Shifters

You'll need a 5mm Allen key to make this adjustment.

1.  Lift the cover on the inside of the shifter.

2.  Using the Allen key, loosen the adjustment bolt until the shifter moves.

3.  Position the shifter where you want it, then tighten the adjustment bolt.
    
    *   If you have a torque wrench, tighten the adjustment bolt to 6 Nm.
        
4.  Press the cover back into position.
    
5.  Repeat for the other side if needed.
    

## Adjusting Your Handlebar Rotation

You'll need a 5mm Allen key to make this adjustment.

1.  Remove the phone tray mat or tablet tray mat.
    
2.  Note the current handlebar adjustment position.
    
3.  Useing the frame key, loosen the adjustment bolt on the bottom of the cap or tablet holder and remove the cap or tablet holder.
    
4.  Using the frame key, loosen the bolt on the top of the handlebar controller.

5.  Lift the tray and slide the handlebar controllers out of the track beneath the tray.
    
    You may need to loosen the bolt on the bottom of the handlebar controllers to allow them to slide out of the track.
    
6.  Using the Allen key, loosen the four bolts in the center of the handlebar.

7.  Rotate the handlebar to your preferred position, then tighten the four bolts.
    
    *   If you have a torque wrench, tighten the bolts to 9 Nm.
        
8.  Lift the tray and slot the handlebar controllers back into the track beneath the tray.
    
    You may need to loosen the bolt on the bottom of the handlebar controllers to allow them to slide into the track.
    
    1.  Set the handlebar to the position you noted earlier.
        
    2.  Once the handlebar controller is in position, use the frame key to tighten the bolt on the top of the handlebar controller.
        
        *   If you have a torque wrench, tighten the adjustment bolt to 10 Nm.
            
9.  Reinstall the cap or tablet holder.
    
    1.  Insert the cap or tablet holder into the end of the handlebar stem.

    2.  Reinsert the bolt through the bottom of the cap or tablet holder and tighten it using the frame key.
        
        *   If you have a torque wrench, tighten the adjustment bolt to 10 Nm.
            
10.  Replace the phone tray mat or tablet tray mat.
    

## Adjusting Your Saddle Height

Pro Tip: When your saddle height is adjusted correctly, your knee should have a slight bend when the pedal is at its lowest point.

1.  Using the frame key, loosen the adjustment bolt on the back of the Zwift Ride.

2.  While supporting the saddle, slide it up or down until you're happy with the position.
    
3.  Using the frame key, tighten the adjustment bolt on the back of the Zwift Ride.
    
    *   If you have a torque wrench, tighten the adjustment bolt to 10 Nm.
        
    
    Do not tighten the adjustment bolt without the seat post in place.
    
4.  Store the frame key in the dock on the frame when you're finished.
