# Using Your Zwift Play

Your Zwift Play allows you to level up your Zwift experience and gives you the freedom to control the UI and in-game functions.

Check out the table below for an overview of the controllers and then find out more about what each button press will do for you depending on if you're [navigating the UI](#Navigating_the_UI) or [riding or working out in Zwift](#Riding_or_Working_Out_in_).

Your Zwift Play is equipped with haptic feedback, you can turn this off in your [in-game settings](https://support.zwift.com/in-game-settings-Hy_tSDDnt).

The first time you pair your Zwift Play controllers with Zwift, you'll see a Zwift Play tutorial. You can view this tutorial again—and an overview of your controllers—from the CONTROLS tab in the SETTINGS menu in-game.

## Navigating the UI

You can use the following buttons when navigating the UI including the Home Screen and your in-game settings.

Press to select.

Open prompt to exit the game when on the Home Screen.

You may need to press Esc twice to open the prompt.

Press and hold to give a ride on to 5 riders within your vicinity.

Press to cycle the Mini Map view when riding.

Press to go left at an intersection when riding.

Press to display the look back camera in a Zwift Event.

Press to [shift](https://support.zwift.com/en_us/zwift-ride-shift-style-and-gear-range-rksYezzIC) down while riding.

Press to decrease intensity in a workout.

You'll need to have ERG turned on, and you'll need to be riding at your target wattage to control workout intensity from the side buttons.

Press to [shift](https://support.zwift.com/en_us/zwift-ride-shift-style-and-gear-range-rksYezzIC) up while riding.

Press to increase intensity in a workout.

You'll need to have ERG turned on, and you'll need to be riding at your target wattage to control workout intensity from the side buttons.

Braking isn't available during workouts.

Push left to steer left.
